Yan Braconnot

ABOUT

Born and raised in Vila Isabel, one of the most traditional neighborhoods for samba, Yan carries the art of dance in his blood. Coming from a renowned family, he is the nephew of Maria Antonieta, one of the great teachers who mentored icons like Carlinhos de Jesus and Jaime Arôxa.

Yan took his first dance steps at the age of 13 and has since devoted himself to preserving and innovating the art of partner dancing, especially samba de gafieira and Brazilian zouk.
