Victor Gnatiuk
ABOUT
Victor Gnatiuk is a Rio de Janeiro native, dancer, dance instructor, and a Physical Education professional.
His journey in partner dancing began 17 years ago at Fabiano Vivas Dance School, where he joined as a scholarship student. Under the guidance and encouragement of Fabiano Vivas, Victor dedicated himself intensely to his training for two years, eventually teaching his first private and group classes in 2009.
In 2014, Victor joined the Alex de Carvalho Dance Center as an instructor. This opportunity allowed him to deepen his studies in Brazilian Zouk and become part of the BOEZ Dance Company (“Special Zouk Operations Battalion”). It was during this time that he met Carol Corrêa. Victor recognized Brazilian Zouk’s immense potential as a dance form that allowed for free expression through music.
After a brief hiatus, Victor returned to Brazilian Zouk last year. In early 2024, he and Carol began a collaborative project that started unexpectedly but felt completely right at the time.
In 2025, Victor earned his certification in the MAC (Alex de Carvalho Method).
He strongly believes that Zouk is a dance built collectively, where leaders and followers work together to create their journey in a cooperative and creative way.
